Badung

Badung is the regency that contains most of Bali’s tourism economy – the Bukit peninsula, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua, plus the international airport. Land prices, rental demand and infrastructure quality are all higher here than in any other regency, and so is competition for plots. Zoning is governed by the Badung RDTR, which is stricter and better enforced than in neighbouring regencies. If you are buying land for a rental villa, a guesthouse or a resort project, Badung is where the majority of viable, permit-ready parcels are found.
