Tabanan and the West Coast run from the Canggu border north-west through Beraban, Tanah Lot, Nyanyi, Kedungu, Pasut, Soka, Balian and on into Jembrana. This is where Bali’s west-coast development is heading next: black-sand surf beaches, rice terraces, and land at a fraction of Badung prices with parcels large enough for villa clusters and boutique resorts. Freehold is more common than in the south. The constraints are infrastructure – PLN capacity, well water, fibre only on main roads – and agricultural zoning that must be checked against the Tabanan RDTR before purchase.
